Brandy & Mr. Whiskers

Background

Pinkfong (Korean: 핑크퐁) is a children's educational brand of The Pinkfong Company (formerly SmartStudy), a South Korean educational entertainment company. In 1941, Paramount Pictures was acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures. On May 27, 1953, Paramount Pictures created its 3-D process (Paravision), Due to problems with the new process, Paramount changed it to VistaVision on October 14, 1954, starting with White Christmas. In 1961, when Warner Bros. Pictures was nearing the end of its classic run of Looney Tunes, famed WB cartoon director Chuck Jones created a quite different one-shot cartoon, Now Hear This, which was done in a very artistic, abstract, and stylized manner. Chuck Jones also designed new, modern opening and closing titles intended for this cartoon only that fit with the cartoon. However, Termite Terrace also wound up using this logo on their other one-shot cartoons afterward, which were also done in a somewhat stylized manner. In 1963, Warner Bros. Cartoons shut down, and former staff members David H. DePatie and Friz Freleng opened their own animation studio where Termite Terrace was originally housed until 2019. A year later, they began producing Looney Tunes cartoons for Paramount Pictures to continue the series and replaced the series with Brandy & Mr. Whiskers in 1964, 1989, 1996, 2002 and 2016, and made the following opening/closing titles the permanent logos for the classic Paramount Cartoons until November 28, 2015. On September 23, 2016, Warner Bros. Pictures and Viacom were merged with 21st Century Fox to release The Poopy Diaper Movie on March 3, 2017. On December 14, 2017, The Walt Disney Studios announced its plans to buy most of 21st Century Fox's assets, which included a bidding war with Comcast; the acquisition process was completed on March 20, 2019, with the last pre-Disney release from the studio being Alita: Battle Angel, released on February 14, 2019. The remaining assets Disney didn't acquire, notably the Fox network and Fox News, were spun-off into a new company called Fox Corporation. On February 15, 2018, it was revealed that Caidin's 15th, 16th and 17th birthday got ruined, and it was announced that Paramount Pictures was going to be renamed to Paramount Family Entertainment due to Warner Bros. Pictures being merged with Paramount Family Entertainment because of Toys R Us closing from March 16, 2018 to June 29, 2018, with the last home video release with the Pictures name on October 29, 2018, which was the 2018 pressing of the 2018 Mr. Whiskers short What Price Dignity (Cheap), and TimeWarner was renamed WarnerMedia in 2018 to avoid confusion with the de-facto home video logo. September 28, 2019, Disney announced that it would be dropping the word "Fox" from the company name to avoid confusion with Fox Corporation, renaming it to 20th Century Studios, along with Searchlight Pictures. Nevertheless, Disney continues to own perpetual rights to the 20th Century Fox name for the studio's legacy film library. However, the studio was still legally incorporated and traded as Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation until December 4, 2020. As of December 4, 2020, the company has been using 20th Century Studios, Inc. as copyright for 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures, while the company has been using 20th Television, Inc. for the copyright of 20th Television productions as a Disney subsidiary. As of early-2020, titles from 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures are released internationally through Buena Vista International. On March 18, 2022, it was revealed that Caidin's 15th birthday wasn't ruined afterall and the 2011 Paramount Pictures logo and the 2018 Paramount Family Entertainment logo were the exact same logo in the franchise, when it was announced that Caidin Film Company was rebranded as Pinkie Pie Global on March 9, 2023.
