Gulf+Western variant

Second Paramount Communications variant

Nicknames: "Feature Presentation", "Abstract Mountain", "The Bumper-esque Logo"
Logo: On a background filled with blue/indigo squares, we see a blue square with the Paramount print logo on it, with an embossed mountain and the stars and script in gold. The stars shine from left to right, then the square moves and zooms away as the squares behind it move off, revealing the stacked words "FEATURE PRESENTATION" in gold zooming in on a heliotrope gradient background. The words shine, and after that, it zooms towards us at breakneck speed. Just when the text engulfs the screen, it cuts to a warning screen, which has a pattern of Paramount mountains in the background.
Bylines: This used whatever byline Paramount was using at the time:
- May 17-October 16, 1989: "A Gulf + Western Company" (used for only six months that year).
- November 9, 1989-May 9, 1995: "A Paramount Communications Company" (the "Feature Presentation" versions have a different font for the Paramount Communications byline: Arial)
- June 13, 1995-January 29, 2016: "A VIACOM COMPANY" (in the same font as the 1990 Viacom logo)
Variants:
- There was a special bumper used for trailers from 1989 to 1997, with the words "COMING ATTRACTIONS" over the heliotrope gradient background, which cuts off after the zoom in.
- On classic animation releases, the policy uses classic animation colors.
- On the re-releases of black and white movies on VHS with the Gulf+Western and Paramount Communications byline versions, the policy and warning screen is in black and white.
- On the 1989 releases of Coming to America (the first release to use this bumper) and Distant Thunder, the policy cuts to black after "FEATURE PRESENTATION" zooms in, then the warning screen fades in.
- There is a very rare long version of the Gulf+Western version where once we fade in, the logo doesn't actually start for a few seconds. Also, once the "FEATURE PRESENTATION" text zooms in, there is a tan screen for a split-second, then the warning screen appears.
Technique: CGI animation, which is very advanced for 1989.
Audio: The 1987 fanfare (originally composed by Jerry Goldsmith), with a male voiceover (Brian Cummings) saying "And now, we're pleased to bring you, our feature presentation."
Audio Variants:
- A variation exists where the announcer says "Paramount is pleased to bring you our feature presentation". This was used with all three byline variants, and can be found on all Laserdisc releases, as well as any VHS releases which have no previews before the film (such as the 1989 releases of the first four Star Trek films, the 1998 release of A Separate Peace, the 2000 release of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, the 2005 remake of Yours, Mine, and Ours, the 2001 release Nick Jr.'s Imagine That!, any promotional copies of movies released by Paramount (except for several of them such as Harriet the Spy, The Ghost and the Darkness, The General's Daughter, Coach Carter, The Longest Yard, Aeon Flux, A Night at the Roxbury, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Teletubbies: Naughty Noo Noo!, Growing Up with Winnie the Pooh: A Great Day of Discovery Boohbah: Hot Dog, Ghost Town, Rugrats: Phil and Lil Double Trouble, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Rugrats: Grandpa's Favorite Stories, Midnight Man, The Phantom, The Score, A Very Brady Sequel, Beavis and Butthead Do America, The Ghost and the Darkness and Nickelodeon Super Toons), and the 1998 widescreen VHS release of Forrest Gump, while the full screen version has the standard voice-over). This variant also appears on all tapes made and sold exclusively through Columbia House (usually identifiable by the presence of an orange sticker on the cover). On rare occasions, this variation did appear right after previews, such as the 1996 VHS of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and its 2000 reprint, some demo and screener tapes, and a series of three videocassettes sold as part of a 1993 McDonald's promotion, including The Addams Family, Charlotte's Web and Ghost (these releases have the Rank Video Services America (now known as Tapes to The Great Animaniacs) print logo on one of the spines on the slipcovers for those films and a face label on the tapes with a special red, yellow, black and white color scheme).
- On the "COMING ATTRACTIONS" variant, the announcer says "Here are some exciting coming attractions from Paramount."
- On the 1991 screener VHS of Subspecies, the logo is silent. This is probably an error on Paramount's part.
Availability: Ultra common, even the last Betamax tape to use this policy "Mission Impossible" was taped over in July 2018 because of the 2021 Tom and Jerry movie being sold in an orange tape due to the 2021 Amblin Entertainment vault fire due to Pinkfong v. Sony Pictures Entertainment, it appears on most Paramount VHS tapes from 1989-2006.
- The original Gulf+Western variation (which is the least common) made its debut on the May 1989 home video release of Coming to America, and can be found on releases such as the first four Star Trek films, Distant Thunder, The Experts, The Best of Eddie Murphy: Saturday Night Live, Cousins, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, Major League, Pet Sematary, and Puppet Master, among others. The Gulf+Western byline version can also be found on the 2017 VHS releases of Popeye and The Boss Baby, since those tapes cut the 2002 warning screen instead of the 2006 one.
- The Paramount Communications variation (which is easier to find) debuted on the November 1989 VHS release of Scrooged, and is also on the 1990 VHS release of Grease, the 1991 VHS and Laserdisc releases of Ghost, both Wayne's World films, the 1993 release of Charlotte's Web, and the 1998 widescreen VHS release of Forrest Gump.
- The Viacom variant is extremely common and appears on nearly every Paramount VHS release from 1995 onwards, starting with the June 1995 VHS release of Drop Zone.
- The final Paramount film released on VHS and to use this policy was the 2006 VHS of Yours, Mine & Ours (2005 remake), the last tape to use it overall were the 2006 VHS of Go Diego Go!: Diego Saves Christmas, which is also the last global Paramount VHS released until Zig and Sharko: The Conquistador, the last screener tapes to use it were the CNTwo distributed tapes of Ghost Town, Star Trek, Friday the 13th, Yogi Bear, Footloose, Fun Size, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Muppets Most Wanted, Planes: Fire and Rescue, Terminator: Genisys, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, Tomorrowland, Inside Out, all 3 Kung Fu Panda films and The Magic Hour. Despite being retired in 2002, the 1966, 1989 and 2008 logos made a guest appearance on the 2021 VHS of Licorice Pizza, released on November 26, 2021, which was the last tape to use it altogether and the last one in the 4:3 aspect ratio in fullscreen.
- On the 1991 LaserDisc release of Apocalypse Now, the 1991 VHS of Raiders of the Lost Ark, the 1998 VHS release of Titanic, and most French Canadian Paramount tapes after Malofilm Video ceased distribution of Paramount titles, this policy is not shown at all, it just goes straight to the warning screen, while on the 1997 releases of The Godfathertrilogy, the logo cuts to black before the 1995 THX logo, as the warnings are placed at the beginning, separate from the logo.
- The normal version strangely appears on the original 1989 VHS release of Major League, a Columbia House print of the VHS of The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear, the 1991 Star Trek: The Movies VHS box set (pan and scan version only; the widescreen edition of the box set uses the other voiceover), a 1995 reprint of Black Rain, the 2005 reissues of Mean Girls and School of Rock, certain prints of Paycheck, and the promotional copy of Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, despite all of those releases having no previews before the film.
- The "COMING ATTRACTIONS" and alternate voiceover versions very rarely appear on the same tape. One tape where this happens is the 1993 release of Delicatessen.
- This and the preceding Stay Tuned After the Movie bumper make surprise appearances on British VHS releases that have special features at the end of the tape, such as The Italian Job and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. All other UK VHS releases from 2003-06 just use a variant based on the UK coming attractions bumpers.
- This appears on demo VHS tapes of PBS Kids shows since 2004, which were Boohbah, Caillou, Teletubbies, Pinkfong, Cyberchase, Jakers: The Adventures of Piggly Winks and Postcards From Buster. The normal releases just start with the warning screen used on Paramount DVDs and Blu-ray discs, while Pinkfong releases until 2020 start with the Barney Home Video logo and releases of Pinkfong releases after 2020 start with the current Pinkfong Home Entertainment logo.
2nd Bumper (September 10, 2002-June 29, 2018, June 18, 2019-March 17, 2020, June 2019 in France)
One or more variations of this logo is/are currently missing in action. The missing variation(s) is/are: The Taz version Please do not add reconstructions of the logo variations if any exist, as they are likely not accurate to the actual logo variations. Additionally, do not attempt to add a finalized description of the logo variations until it has been found in its entirety. |

Nicknames: "Feature Presentation II", "CGI Mountain III", "Ultra Majestic Mountain", "Ultra Majestic Perumount","The Analog/Digital Space Hopper"
Trivia: This policy was animated by Apple Inc.
Technique: Same as the 2015-2020 Paramount Television Entertainment logo.
Bylines:
- September 10, 2002-October 3, 2006: Bugs Bunny (with gold gloves) walks to the camera and sings a song about how to play Wile E Coyote’s Clues. Bugs Bunny then sits in the thinking chair until he stands up and walks close to the camera and hides while Wile E Coyote jumps into the camera and gets down, then Bugs Bunny gets up and moves his hands vertically and shakes them, and Bugs Bunny starts looking for the first clue.
- November 21, 2006-September 29, 2009: Bugs Bunny (with white gloves) stands up with his Handy Dandy Notebook, and puts it down when he tells the viewer the question Wile E. Coyote said to him. After he starts singing the song, he goes to the living room when the ending of the last verse starts and sings the rest of the song and does the same things from the previous logo normally (without the parts where he says "Now what do we do").
- October 27, 2009-August 31, 2010: Same as the previous version, but Bugs Bunny is taller and brighter, and his dancing was changed.
- December 21, 2010-September 25, 2012: Same as the previous version, but Bugs Bunny is shinier, and even shorter than in the 2nd logo, and his dancing was changed again.
- December 4, 2012-December 8, 2015: Same as the previous version, but Bugs Bunny is back to his color scheme from the first logo and switched to his design from The Looney Tunes Show, and his dancing was changed again.
- January 29, 2016-January 13, 2017: The 15th Anniversary version. Same as the 4th version, but the logo was cropped from 4:3 to 16:9, and Bugs Bunny is in a purple tint.
- January 6, 2017-June 29, 2018: Same as the previous version, but Bugs Bunny is now in his design from New Looney Tunes.

- Generic Ferb (Similar to the Paramount variant. Seen on the Phineas and Ferb episodes Comet Kermillion, Magic Carpet Ride, Agent Doof and Summer Belongs to You. Used from September 19, 2016-September 17, 2018, after the second beta of Paramount Video System 1.0 came out. A filmed version exists on Phineas and Ferb: The Movie, although the variant in its entirety hasn't been seen yet due to the third The Poopy Underwear Movie vault fire.) A corporate version also exists.
- Generic Garfield (Similar to the Paramount variant. Seen on The Garfield Movie. 2012, Corporate and Videotaped versions exist. Used from September 24, 2016-present.)
- Generic Scaredy Squirrel (Also a version of Paramount Cinemas' "Millennium Collection" logo. Seen on the Scaredy Squirrel episode Rockabye Rock. The 2016 version was a corporate variant, but a 2014 version exists on the Scaredy Squirrel episode "Breaking the Mold". An enhanced videotaped 2018 flying ball variant was surfaced on the episode Tubtastic Two on February 10, 2024. Used from September 24, 2016-present.)
Variants:
- The ball size may vary.
- There’s a version with two handles and a version with one roundish square handle.
- The ball color may vary.
- The ball’s inflation amount may vary.
- The balloon color may vary.
- The balloon size may vary.
- The balloon shape may vary.
- On an unaired pilot of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from 2008, the flying variant is mixed with the bouncing variant.
- On Scooby Doo: Sia's Fun House, the policy was accidentally recolored with the bottom of the red balls colored dark blue, due to film deterioration.
- Prior to late 2009, a separate Bugs Bunny costume was used outside this cell phone policy trailer on RVSA releases because this costume was unable to be shown in the blue screen effect.
- A variant has the nameless characters replaced by Mr. Whiskers on a real ball. This would later become the movie logo starting with The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
- On some movies, the logo is slightly enhanced. Noticeable changes include a more reddish wall and pencil drawings rather than crayon drawings.

- A videotaped version is known to exist. Known Wile E. Coyote's Clues hosts using this variant are the nameless characters, Lowly Worm, Curious George, Timmy Turner, Maxwell Atoms, Shaggy, Gumball Watterson, SpongeBob, Taz, Batman, Bugs Bunny, Mr. Whiskers, Wakko, Robin, Eugenie and Sharko.
- A French version exists where the footage of Mr. Whiskers performing the logo is encircled the mountain are 24 white stars, accompanied by "C'est un film Paramount" in white.
- On the re-releases of black and white movies on VHS with the 2016 versions, the policy and warning screen is in black and white.
Audio:
- September 10, 2002-April 1, 2003: The classic Paramount version of Tic Toc, with Brian Cummings.
- March 31, 2003-November 28, 2015: The classic Paramount Pictures version of Tic Toc, without the voiceover.
- February 21, 2016-March 5, 2019: The Windows Vista startup sound, without the voiceover.
- August 15, 2017-October 16, 2018: The Windows Vista startup sound, with Caidin Johnson from The Johnson Show.
- April 14, 2016-June 29, 2018, June 18, 2019, March 17, 2020: A different song, called Bounce-a is heard over the logo.
- Boing sound effects according to the animation company would be used or the new 2016 fanfare from Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, Jackass The Movie, Sing, The Peanuts Movie, among others would be used. Sometimes the sound effects from the hopper ball Bouncing would be heard. Otherwise, the opening of the program would be used.
Audio Variants:
- There is a very rare variant which uses the "Paramount is..." voiceover. The only known releases with this variant were Damaged Care, Bleacher Bums, My Horrible Year!, Bobbie's Girl, the demo VHS tapes of SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom Bash and Hey Arnold!: The Movie, Barney's Christmas Star and The Day Reagan Was Shot. Again, these are releases with no previews.
- On the Leapfrog Generation 1.5 variant, the January 2012 Caidin's Laugh theme is used instead.
- May 3, 2014-June 29, 2018: The policy was reanimated with a new fanfare was made based off Two Front Teeth from the 2014 DVD of Disney Sing Along Songs: Very Merry Christmas. The shadow was removed and the ball has light reflection. Bugs Bunny's costume is changed to the one from The Looney Tunes Show, and his legs are closer to the ball.
- The Netherlands print of Dead Water uses the panther roar instead of the standard roar for an unknown reason.
Availability: Ultra rare.
- Paramount Cinemas/Mr. Whiskers: Both seen in all Paramount, National Amusements, Showcase Cinemas, Cinemark, Century, CineArts, and Tinseltown theaters between May 21, 2002 and October 1, 2017, until it was announced that Netflix would remove Animaniacs from all streaming services until November 20, 2020 and stop selling hopper balls due to over-inflation and sitpopping (though some theaters don't use it on some films between May 16, 2015 and June 29, 2018 don't use it). The last store to sell hopper balls overall was Toys R Us, which closed on June 29, 2018, when it was replaced with the final cell phone policy trailer.
- However, because France was the only remaining country with Toys R Us locations, it was still used in France until 2019 because Toys R Us was closed in France in 2019.
- It is unknown which of the two versions appears on Operation Sandman: Warriors in Hell, Alien Fury, Border Patrol, The Killing Yard, Club Land, On the Edge, Secret of Giving, The Wilde Girls, A Diva's Christmas Carol, Nella the Princess Knight, Puppy Dog Pals: Going on a Mission!, Bunnicula: Season 1, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, Daphne and Velma, Scooby-Doo and the Gourmet Ghost and DC Super Hero Girls: Legends of Atlantis.
- The first VHS printing of Changing Lanes uses the 2002 version of the Feature Presentation bumper, but it instead cuts to the 1995-2006 warning screen. This is likely due to that tape being the last Paramount movie to be released on VHS before August 21, 2010.
- The "COMING ATTRACTIONS" line was cancelled in 1996 and the "Close Face" line was cancelled in 2007.
- The easiest and worst way to find this logo is Chuck Jones cartoons, such as Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Little Lulu, Yogi Bear, The Flinstones and Little Audrey. Today, they have been moved to Boomerang on October 14, 2004 except for the VoiceForge ones, which are not on Morris. However, the Chuck Jones cartoons returned on New Years Day of 2009, 2010 and 2014 for commercial uses only.
- Currently, it is seen on Yin Yang Yo: An Oldie But A Goodie, You've Got Snail, Animaniacs: Challboard Bungle, The Loud House: Party Down and Teen Titans Go: Cartoon Feud, which are all permanently in the public domain.
- Out of all VHS tapes that use this policy trailer, the only ones that they on purposely didn't release on DVD are Seasons 1-6 and 15-20 of Barney & Friends, Out of the Box, Looi the Cat and Total Dramarama (for an unknown reason) and 2016-2019 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons (because the TV counterpart of those shorts "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" had positive review).
- However, one of the 2016-2019 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts, which was Pickled Tink was still released on DVD as Risk, Whack, Rob and Max.
- The last unofficial VHS from Tapes to the Great Animaniacs to use this cell phone policy was A Pizza Tweety Pie (which was the rarest Looney Tunes VHS to be released) and the last official tape to use it was the widescreen version of the 2016 VHS of You've Got Snail, released on June 9, 2019. However, since it debuted in the original 2016 version of the You’ve Got Snail VHS, it was still being used on Famous Studios' lobby cards and catalogs until January 14, 2021.
- The 2002 90th anniversary version and the 2002, 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2017 print logo versions are common, as they may be seen on certain 2002 Paramount Home Video VHS releases from the time frame, such as SpongeBob SquarePants: Sea Stories, The Sum of All Fears, MTV Yoga and Rugrats: Christmas. Some 2002 releases, strangely, such asJimmy Neutron: Boy Genius,SpongeBob SquarePants: Halloween,9/11: The Filmmakers' Commemorative Edition,Rugrats Halloween, the Special Edition VHS release ofRat Race, among others, have this policy's print version on the spine but do not have this policy on the tape, as they use the previous policy instead.
- The 2003 prototype version is completely rare and can only be found on the 2016 DVD of The Caidin Show: Bonus Episodes.
- The 2003-2006 version is rare, as the episodes that used it are hard to find, not available on dvd or plastered with new policies, it was spotted on DreamWorks Animation films from 2004 to 2006, but current prints since 2019 use the current DreamWorks Animation logo.
- The 2006-2009 is very common, as the only appearance of the bouncing variant, which was The Gummy Bear Song from icanrockyourworld got over 1 billion views on YouTube. It was used on DreamWorks Animation films but when Universal Pictures began owning the rights to the company in 2017, this policy was removed from their films and current prints of them have the 2012 Universal Pictures logo and the 2019 DreamWorks Animation logo. The unaired pilot of my little pony: friendship is magic from 2008 still has this logo.
- The 2009-2010 version is common, since it was shown on the theme song for Wow Wow Wubbzy, and is a show by Caidin Film Company (one of Paramount Home Media Distribution's partners) and most films and television shows that used that version used the previous policy, the 2014-2016 policy, the 2016-2018 policy and the 2011 Paramount Family Entertainment policy later released VHS tapes based on this show, such as The Loud House and Pinkfong.
- It is possible that this policy could be surfaced on Bob Boyle shows like Yin Yang Yo and The Fairy Oddparents in 2028, despite Animaniacs 2 being delayed and replaced with Brandy, Mr. Whiskers, Muffy, Rob and Mr. Whackadoo on February 16, 2022. So far, the 2016-2018 Picture version was found on The Fairy Oddparents episode Christmas Everyday, the Yin Yang Yo episode An Oldie but a Goodie and the 2016 remake of the Wow! Wow! Wubbzy music video Don't Give Up.
- The 2010-2014 version is uncommon, since can be used on several television episodes on pre-2010 television broadcasts, such as Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer and the Time Life Video VHS of Doctor Barney is Here.
- The 2014-2018 version is extremely rare, as one of it's only official appearances was the 2002 remake of Disney Sing-Along-Songs: Very Merry Christmas Songs on VHS and DVD, which wasn't on the 1988 VHS.
- The 2014-2015 version is very common, since one of this version's most official appearances of this version was Caidin Film Company's first theatrical film, The Caidin Movie, released on June 26, 2015. In January 2016, a widescreen variant of this version was released and used in tandem of the 2016-2018 policy trailer in most episodes of television shows that have weak hopper balls.
- The prototypes and the 15th anniversary versions are uncommon and debuted on Brandy And Mr. Whiskers: You’ve Got Snail on January 29, 2016 and the first film to use one of the normal ones was an America’s funniest home videos episode on February 21, 2016 and the last prototype was used on the PAW Patrol episode: Pups Save A Flying Frog on the same day. The last films to use the 15th anniversary logo were the 2016 subsequent VHS of the Animaniacs episode: Chalkboard Bungle, released on January 10, 2017 and Monster Trucks, released on January 13, 2017. The 15th anniversary variant makes a surprise appearance on the PAW Patrol episode: Pups Rescue Thanksgiving, released on November 21, 2018.
- On September 19, 2016, the company announced that they would use this policy trailer until 2026 for a 25th anniversary policy trailer, but four days later on September 23, 2016, they announced that they would only use it until 2018 due to it's final surviving source, Toys R Us closing.
- Ferb: This version was seen in Paramount, National Amusements, Showcase Cinemas, Cinemark, Century, CineArts, and Tinseltown theaters since September 19, 2016, but it was removed on September 4, 2018 due to announcing that Mr. Whiskers would never appear on-screen with the Phineas and Ferb characters due to them being unavailable since the first build of the second beta release of Paramount Video System 1.0 was released. However, the extended videotaped version of this variant was also seen on a reconstructed D-VHS/DVD release and current reconstructed CBS airings of Phineas and Ferb: The Movie (when they aired it under the umbrella title Bounce with Candace).
- Shaggy: Like Phineas & Ferb, all of the Scooby Doo and Bunnicula films were permanently sold out at National Amusements and Cinemark locations from September 4-17, 2018 due to the Bunnicula characters only appearing on Pinkfong (formerly Barney & Friends) between the first 10 episodes of Season 17, due to the Scooby Doo franchise ending Bunnicula on December 30, 2018 because of that show being too similar to Blue's Clues, which was Mr. Whiskers's least favorite show, even though two Scooby Doo/Bunnicula-themed films, which were Sia's Fun House, released on June 18, 2019 and Cartoon Feud, released on March 17, 2020 kept using it at Paramount and Cinemark theaters.
- Others: This version was seen in Paramount, National Amusements, Showcase Cinemas, Cinemark, Century, CineArts, and Tinseltown theaters between May 21, 2002 and October 29, 2018, but the other versions of this policy were used, it got more rare several times since it's first appearance, such as vandalizing balls, crayons and snowglobes, rebranding Warner Bros. Pictures to Paramount Pictures outside Canada and Italy and injuring and killing innocent people through the years, and has now become near extinction to Wakko killing Skippy from the OG Animaniacs in the reboot and another vault fire at Amblin Entertainment. Due to the 2016 Warner vault fire and post-April 2019 prints of most films from this era have the 3rd logo plastering this one, this is not easy to come across. However, many corporate variants of this policy trailer including those versions were still used as an Easter Egg in Paramount Video System if you open notepad, type in "Mr. Whiskers and His Friends Wants to Bounce", Save the document as "Let’s Bounce" and open it, including ones with Timmy Turner and Wubbzy, ones with Bugs Bunny/Mr. Whiskers, among others.
- Starting on May 26, 2025, the Generic “Wakko” variant of this policy trailer was reintroduced at all four major theater chains - AMC, Regal, Cinemark and Paramount.
3rd Leader (August 21, 2006-April 15, 2014)
Logo: Tigger/Wubbzy bouncing on his tail.
Goofs:
- Even though Wubbzy is a human character and has a tail, pigs and tigers have tails, but humans don't have tails.
- Tigger: A low pitched boing sound effect.
- Wubbzy: A weird type of bouncing sound effect".
4th Leader (5th logo placeholder) (June 30, 2017-June 29, 2018)
Nicknames: "Inflatable Candy"
Logo: A gray rabbit blows a little bubble with bubble gum.
Variants:
- There was a 15th anniversary version based on the 2017 version which was only used on the first trailer for Despicable Me 3 from December 14, 2016 but because of the anniversary ending, it was scrapped.
- A videotaped version was sometimes used.
- A German version exists on the German adaptions of Fanboy and Chum Chum: Brain Freeze and The Greatest Show on Earth (both of the only surviving films to use this logo).
Bylines:
- There was a 15th anniversary version based on the 2017 version which was only used on the first trailer for Despicable Me 3 from December 14, 2016 but because of the anniversary ending, it was scrapped.
- The host may vary.
- For the 2017 version, it uses beach ball sound effects and was first seen on the trailers for Home Tweet Home and Despicable Me 3 and the fully animated version debuted on the same films themself, both released on October 29, 2017. Despicable Me 3 was the only film to have this version with a Viacom byline while Home Tweet Home was the only film to have this version with a Crayola byline.
- The original version, which usually made unexpected appearances from 2010-2017, which doesn't have the flying effect has balloon sound effects and after the episode of The Pink Panther Show "A Pink and Stormy Night" on April 2, 2018, this version of the logo was banned, due to it's previous appearance in the international version of Devil May Hare (1954) having the 2017 version on most prints of the tape.
FX/SFX:Flying.
Music/Sounds:The 2009 or 2016 Caidin's Breath logo.
Availability: Ultra rare. It was first seen on the trailer for despicable me 3 and the full animated version debuted on the same film itself and the Merrie Melodies cartoon: home tweet home, both released on October 29, 2017. It also was seen on Devil May Hare, but the only known print of Devil May Hare on YouTube has the ball blow plastered with the balloon blow. It's only most extreme unexpected appearance in the 2000's was Rugrats: Give and Take, which used a staticky version of the 2004 Caidin's Scream logo. The only surviving films with this logo were Fanboy and Chum Chum: Brain Freeze, Camp Lakebottom: Mind Suckers from the Depths and the German adaption of The Greatest Show on Earth. However, none of the films that used this logo were destroyed in the 2016 Warner vault fire because Storks came first. According to Eugenie from Zip Zip, the reason why Taz's version of the 2nd leader was destroyed was due to World War III shootings as mentioned in Inflatable Pogo Whiskers: The Caidin Johnson Theory, meaning that this logo was possibly a placeholder for 90th Anniversary logo.
Legacy: This logo was unofficially retired on its 1st birthday (similar to how the 2nd logo was unofficially retired on its 79th birthday)
5th Leader (July 9, 2018-)
Paramount Home Entertainment:Noveltoons:

Trivia: - This logo was designed by TVPaint Animation, who also created the 2020 Animaniacs reboot.
- Despite being a replacement for the 2nd leader, this logo has no new changes to that policy even though it was permanently retired in 2018 due to it's final surviving source, Toys R Us closing. Same material, Same fanfare, Same sound effects, Same everything.

- EP/SLP Mode, Videotaped and 2018 flying ball versions are known to exist on the 2021 VHS of Clifford the Big Red Dog (after the next variant) and the Kiff episodes Road Trip, Club Book, Life of the Outside and Kiff's Animal Kingdom.

- Even though the TimeWarner byline was replaced with a Disney byline in the movie logo in June 2019, The TimeWarner byline version was still used on the 2019 home video releases of PAW Patrol: Pups Save A Mystery and the 2020 DVD of Playing with Fire.
- A closing version of this logo exists, which shows a textless version of the logo with the The End text, then fades to the actual version of the logo (the version seen before the Feature Presentation ID.)
- A flying ball variant exists. In this variant, a beach ball is shown, and either gets inflated or deflated. The prototype version of this variant was seen on The High and the Flighty, Adventure Time: Horse and Ball, Tom & Jerry: Muscle Beach Tom and the 2018 screener VHS of Zig and Sharko: The Conquistador.
- Warner Bros.-based films, such as Seasons 5-7 of Teen Titans Go!, Zip Zip, Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, Smallfoot, Teen Titans Go!: Teen Titans Roar!, Green Eggs and Ham, Shazam, Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans, Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, Paramount-Sing Along Songs, Mortal Kombat: Scorpion's Revenge, Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam, Mortal Kombat: Battle of the Realms, Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up, Taz: Quest for Burger, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers and Baby Shark's Big Show! omit the Feature Presentation logo.

- Warner Bros.-based Paramount shows were moved from Nick Jr. to CBS on January 29, 2019, while the Warner Bros.-based Paramount shows were removed from the Nick Jr. website and DVDs of Warner Bros.-based Paramount shows were rereleased on February 12, 2019, when they started containing the closing version of this logo, with the byline "A Division of Caidin Film Company".
- The distance between the words and the mountain tip sometimes varies.
- The byline (including defunct companies) may vary.
- Mr. Whiskers's design may vary.
- The host may vary.
- On Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons from Famous Studios, The logo is in open matte. On the 2019 16:9 remake, the logo is in the 4:3 aspect ratio.
- A 4:3 center-cut version exists.
Noveltoons Variant: On Noveltoons shorts since 2024, The 2023 version of this logo (which was seen on D-VHS releases starting with the 2023 D-VHS of Barbie) was shown on a close up of the box within a circle, which then zooms down to the bottom center of the screen. A Jack-in-the-Box pops from inside the box, opening the word "NOVELTOON". The picture fades, leaving the title card over a revised version of the 1959-2023 Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies background. Then more words appear above and below the title. On this is "Paramount PRESENTS A NOVELTOON in (Color by) TECHNICOLOR" with a Paramount Global shield. After this, the Famous Studios logo appears on the same background, followed by a picture of the character in the short with the word "FEATURING" on the top, and the character's name on the bottom (e.g. Featuring Tom & Jerry, where a new version of the 1953-1955 Tom and Jerry logo is seen in the circle). A prototype version of the Noveltoons variant with only 22 stars was seen on the Noveltoons short Wakko Goes to the Movies, the first appearance of this variant.
Technique: A painting filmed by a cameraman, with the cloud backdrop being moved behind the mountain.
Audio Variant: On the demo VHS of 2020 rerelease of Barney's Halloween Party, the 2012 Universal Pictures fanfare plays and has a low pitched Universal logo afterwards because Paramount Home Entertainment's studio broke. The studio also broke before finishing Risk, Whack, Rob and Max.

- This policy has appeared in Spanish ("Paramount Films Presenta"; Las Pistas De Wile E. Coyote), French ("C'est un film Paramount", or "Distribué par Paramount"; Jeu de Wile E. Coyote), and German ("Ein Paramount Film", or "Im Verleih der Paramount"; Wile E. Coyote und Schlau).

- A filmed version exists. It was also seen on the Paramount films Mission Impossible: Fallout, Rocketman, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Smile, Scream VI and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and the Warner Bros-based films Teen Titans Go to the Movies!, Smallfoot, Shazam!, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, Birds of Prey, Scoob!, fullscreen prints of Justice League, Tom and Jerry, Dune, Don't Worry Darling and Creed III.

Availability: Common. Again, this was used as Paramount Home Entertainment's third de-facto home video logo.- This logo was discontinued between October 6th and October 8th of the logo’s first year so the 1941 version of the 1927 movie logo was used in place of this one due to bad reviews of the flying ball variant.
- This de-facto home video logo debuted on the 2018 DVD of My Little Pony: Pony Trick or Treat, released on September 4, 2018, before making it's first regular appearance on the 2018 D-VHS releases of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Circle Time Squabble and Teen Titans Go The Movies on October 30, 2018, since the normal 90th Anniversary Family Entertainment version plasters the prototype version of the logo on all the Paramount D-VHS/DVD releases that used it because it was the first D-VHS releases to use this logo, and last appeared on the 2020 D-VHS of Wonder Boys.
- It also appears on Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse and 2018-2023 Brandy & Mr. Whiskers shorts and Zip Zip shorts, and Noveltoons shorts starting with Wakko Goes to the Movies, released on April 26, 2024.
- Appears on all Paramount 4K UHD Blu-Rays, as well as all Paramount D-VHS DVD and Blu-Ray releases in Canada (excluding those of CBS, Showtime, and Paramount Media Networks content) after Instant Family (most sources claim PAW Patrol: Rubble on the Double due to Toys R Us closing since the Barney Home Video logo still being used on Pinkfong DVD releases ending with Pinkfong's Mother Goose).
- Appears (oddly) on the beginning of USA Paramount D-VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray releases during the 1996 Paramount Cinemas policy trailer starting in late 2023 (including Pinkfong, Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon Movies releases), starting with Barbie, except for SpongeBob SquarePants, Zig and Sharko, The Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry, Looi the Cat, Mighty Mike, Felix the Cat and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls releases (e.g. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Complete Thirteenth Season), which have no dialog or now duplicated by Technicolor Video Services, and the USA D-VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray releases of Love and Monsters.
- The finalized 90th Anniversary version plasters the prototypes of the 90th Anniversary variant of the 2018 Paramount Pictures logo on the 1987, 1988, 1995, 2002, 2003 and 2018-2019 VHS releases of Top Gun, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Whoopee Boys, Crocodile Dundee, Children of a Lesser God, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Fatal Attraction, Eddie Murphy Raw, The Browning Version, Pontiac Moon, Drop Zone, I.Q., Nobody's Fool, Star Trek: Generations, Vanilla Sky, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Orange County, Crossroads, Jackass: The Movie, Abandon, Extreme Ops, The Wild Thornberrys Movie, Star Trek: Nemesis, Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure, Rambo III, The Hours, Teen Titans Go!
